As a non-profit 501(c)3, MassHCIC's summer All-Star program and employees are entirely funded by the donations of our generous sponsors. Our sponsors include towns, businesses, and developers, who are ready to tackle the need for more climate-resilient housing, which can save municipalities, homeowners, and the real estate industry billions in property damage in the years to come.

In 2024, our summer All-Star program partnered with the towns of Chatham, Barnstable, Eastham, Sandwich, and Orleans to catalogue municipal assets as potential testing grounds for climate tech innovation. Interns catalogued over 300 town assets and cited nearly 20 areas ready for housing development projects, and climate tech field testing. Interns also developed 8 extensive research projects regarding housing development, labor, the national grid and renewable energy, shoreline protection and more.
To collect data on Cape Cod, our interns require housing during our summer All-Star program. Our host families make this possible by offering our interns an affordable place to stay. In 2024, our host families spanned across the Cape in Barnstable, Brewster, and Sandwich. If you are interested in hosting an All-Star, we are accepting applications for our summer 2025 hosts!
